The annual Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska was held on June 3 and 4 in Princeton, Neb. at the Lienetics Ranch. Four thousand people were in attendance on June 4 for a variety of activities including live and silent auctions, an art show, style show, wine and beer tastings and a concert by Clint Black. Pictured below are cancer research graduate students discussing their poster project with those in attendance.

The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center sponsored a tent and provided free facial sun damage assessments and UNL nursing students performed blood pressure checks. Students from the Cancer Research Doctoral Program were in attendance to discuss their research. The Cattlemen’s Ball has raised more than $12 million since beginning in 1998.
