On June 5 and 6, Tom Herzog and Kim Schweers welcomed more than 4,000 attendees to this year’s Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska.

As owners of the Redbird Ranch, located on the Niobrara River near Lynch, Neb., they provided a scenic and beautiful setting for the ball complete with golfing, silent and live auctions, art show, wine tastings and a concert featuring Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw and Darryl Worley.

Ninety percent of the proceeds from the event go to the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center for cancer research, with the remaining 10 percent earmarked for regional health organizations.

Since the Cattlemen’s Ball started in 1998, the group has raised more than $10 million dollars in support of cancer research.
